22 people detained for illegal stay: results of a large-scale operation in Northern Cyprus

Another round of “Huzur Operasyonları” raids took place in Northern Cyprus, aimed at checking violations of migration regulations and public safety. According to the police, 22 people were detained for illegal residence in the country.
During large-scale checks in various areas, individuals without valid residence permits were identified, as well as other offenses related to violations of public order. Those detained were taken to police stations, where separate investigations are being conducted for each case.
The police announced that such operations will continue, emphasizing the importance of controlling the migration situation and ensuring public safety.
